As with all agents there is a fees that will apply when renting a property through Move On.

Single Application                £240 inc VAT

Joint Application                   £420 inc VAT

Per Guarantor                       £60 inc VAT

Permitted Occupier              £120 inc VAT (Dependants over the age of 18)

The fees above include referencing fees, arrangement fees and check in fees.

If for any reason you apply for a property and you do not take up a tenancy, please be aware you will forfeit your fees.

During a tenancy with Move On, the following charges will be applicable.

If you renew your tenancy after the initial term a charge of £102 for a further six months or £144 for a twelve month tenancy will  apply. Due to the paperwork still involved with regards to a rollover tenancy, a fee of £102 will still apply.

 If you have agreed to renew your tenancy and change your mind in the last month a cancellation fee will apply of £102 to cover admin charges.

If we receive a cheque from you which has to be re-presented to the bank or is returned for whatever reason, a £30.00 charge will apply due to bank charges that we may incur as well as increased administration. This does not include any bank charges incurred by the landlord (see below).

As time is a precious commodity, if an appointment is made for an inspection of the property which you fail to keep, a £30 charge will apply unless we have received 24 hours prior notice.

An administration charge of £42 will automatically be applied if your rent is 7 days late. If the landlord incurs bank charges as a result of rent being paid late or remaining in arrears then you will also be liable for these charges (subject to proof from the landlord)

 Should you, at any stage or for any reason, request an early release from a fixed term tenancy a non-refundable administration fee of £600.00 will apply due to costs involved in re-marketing and administration. Please note that under the Housing Act 1988, Landlords are not obliged to grant early release and this is done at their discretion. Where early release has been granted, the tenant is still responsible for the rent up to a new a tenant has been found and moved in or this tenancy has expired whichever comes first.  Tenants can only be removed from/added to a tenancy with written consent from Move On.

If we need to make an amendment to your tenancy by way of adding or removing an approved additional tenant then a charge of £144.00 will apply. Tenants can only be removed from/added to a tenancy with written consent from Move On.

All cleaning and repairs, etc should be carried out by tenants prior to vacation and handover of a property at the end of the Tenancy. However, should we at the end of your tenancy, need to arrange any repairs, cleaning or other works, resulting from your tenancy in a property, we will be entitled to charge £60.00 per contractor arranged. This will be limited to a maximum of £240.00 but the minimum charge is £60.00.

A charge for the initial end of tenancy inspection/check out will be £60.00, should we need to carry out further inspections as a result of late handover of a property due to outstanding cleaning and repairs etc then a fee of £36.00 will apply for each additional visit made.

In the event that you lock yourself out of the property and require us to attend with keys a charge of £24.00 will apply. Attendance is at our discretion so please guard all keys well.

Any Standing Order for rent received after vacation of property, a fee of £18 will be charged for reimbursement of monies.

Any Duplicate copies of Tenancy paperwork will incur a £30 administration fee.

You will reimburse any costs caused by the Landlord of eviction fees. This will include all Court Costs, legal representative costs, Bailiff costs and locksmith costs.
